Dental Surgeries

Bupa Dental Care Bangor

4a Killeen Ave, Bangor BT19 1NB, UK – 028 9127 4101

I have been going here for several years now, since it was "Springhill Dental Practice". It has changed name a few times since then, and expanded, but the service has not been affected by these changes. My dentist has changed twice in these several years, but I have always received a first class service. My current Dentist and her Dental Nurse are both very friendly, funny and efficient. I couldn't fault any of the work I have had carried out. Even my son has never been nervous attending the practice, even on his 1st visit at not even 3ys old. I would give a 10/10 rating without a doubt.

Never had a bad experience with my dentist (Debbie) She explains everything and is very good with nervous patients, not to mention the craic you have with both Debbie and her dental nurse also called Debbie!! Very busy practice, which can mean waiting longer for a regular appointment.

Ballyholme Dental Practice

22A Groomsport Rd, Bangor BT20 5LN, UK – 028 9146 5625

Been with the practice over 5 years now and have always been happy with the service, both during and after my visit.

My family and I have been using Ballyholme Dental Practice for a number of years now. Due to being a nervous patient the reception staff & dental nurses have helped to put me at ease with their welcoming smile and bubbly personalities.Lisa and Texan are very thorough in their examinations and treatment and have always been able to advise on how to maintain a healthy mouth. Would highly recommend Ballyholme Dental Practice and wouldn't use anywhere else.

Find Recycling Centres

Balloo Recycling Centre

28 Balloo Ave, Bangor BT19 7QY, UK

Great recycling plant but the website said it was open all day today 27th Dec 2017. Of course it wasn't, and I and a lot of other folks were all trying to turn around and head back out of the dead end road. Please put correct information on the website. It's a pain when I fill the car up and drive here only to find you were wrong about opening hours.

I use regularly. I always find it great.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Crawfordsburn

The Ava Winebar

132 Main St, Bangor BT20 4AG, UK – 028 9146 5490

We went here for lunch and had 5 complicated various sandwiches which were all achieved to perfection! The price of the sandwiches includes a side which makes the meal quite filling and priced well. I had prawns on gluten free bread with a side order of salad and parmesan cheese and it was superb. Others had sides of curly fries, sweet potato fries, skinny chips - all hot and tasty. Service was great and chilled bottled water was offered. Highly recommended and shall be returning again

Excellent menu choice and great value pricing. Special offer food platters for 2 including a glass of wine for £25! Excellent seating and great for. Groups of people. Walk in service downstairs. Bookable upstairs. Never disappoints! Worth a visit!

Tom's Dining Rooms Bangor

7 Hamilton Rd, Bangor BT20 4JP, UK – 028 9146 1529

When I go into any restaurant I never order rump steak. It is not a good steak cut of beef. I always look for a nice rib eye or sirloin. I scanned the choices and didn't find anything interesting. I didn't keep to my own rule. The rump arrived with tobacco onions and pepper sauce. It was over cooked and very chewy. The garlic potatoes were nice and piping hot. The place is comfy and the decor is modern. The staff are very welcoming and very attentive without going over the top. If they could update the menu it would be a nice wee place to go.

The staff are very friendly and the food is both impressive and unique. Portion sizes are huge and I have yet to completely finish an order! The interior design of the restaurant is warm, beautiful and as unique as the menu!
